Himmelstøv is the Norwegian word for "sky dust".

 

Himmelstøv is my husband and I.​

We are ordinary Christian believers. 

Our belief is that the Bible is the Word of God given to us, revealed by the Holy Spirit who abides in every Christian walking in Truth. God`s Word is to be read, revealed and lived out.

Christianity is by now a house of large size,

we pray to be cleansed vessels used for His glory. (2 Tim.2.21)​

As being a devoted Bible reader I find it very important to express that both trials and sufferings are closely knitted to the hope of glory.

My musical expression comes from a broken place, to a broken world.

I pray to be someone who weeps with you. Just as Jesus would. 

​

I believe as He was broken for us, we should be broken for one another and for the world too.

I know we live in a superficial culture, but God is not superficial and His people should not be.

It`s the pain in life which makes the relief in heaven so beautiful. It`s the suffering of illness which makes the hope of eternal healing so dear to us.

It`s the ugliness of evil which makes the beauty of Christ so breathtaking. It`s the brokenness of heart and impurity of sin which makes the pure agape love of Christ everything we long for.

The beauty of Christ`s face is the end of all suffering, and the beginning of eternal glory. 

And yes, I believe in miracles here, while we worship and serve Him with all of our hearts, but the fullness of it all is to come. We are to comfort one another with the hope of glory.

Christ loves His bride, His people, with an everlasting love. She sees herself as hurt, weak, broken with nothing to give, but He lifts her eyes. All the beauty and glory are given in His finished work.

By steadfastly fixing her eyes on Him, she will reach the longing of all creation.
