Comfort
For God har not given us a spirit of fear,
but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
(2 Tim.1.7)
This means when fear overwhelms us we run to Christ, to prayer, for more of His Spirit in us.
Only more of His Spirit can birth His power in us. And crush our fear.
I pray this to be mine and your experience to take us through.
When isolated, we are not forsaken.
When hurt and wounded, evil cannot touch the eternal healing of the cross.
When no hope in life, we lift our eyes
and see the coming of our King.
Still alive, this has kept me:
In Christ death has lost it`s sting. Our hope is to see Him face to face in glory.
The comfort of Christ is the comfort from Him who`s body was pierced for us, everything of pain and suffering He has felt, and because of this we are never left alone, neither in the shadows of death.
When we cannot pray, we lift our hands to Him,
grabbing Him, The Invisible.
By this, we pray He will hold us,
He will carry us through.
Our Saviour.
